Mentors who have built what they teach
Every mentor at M&B is a volunteer who has built a venture or a career of their own. The founders still teach the classes.
Mentor Morris Njogu
FounderMentor Morris Njogu is a mentor, author and business accelerator in Nairobi, Kenya. He began his career as a telecoms technician on Safaricom's first network rollout, became a core network engineer with Nokia Siemens Networks across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, and went on to lead companies as General Manager and Managing Director, including the turnaround of Fountain Technologies, Fun Cities, Prime Telecoms and Catapult Zone. He holds an Executive MBA (Quantic), a Bachelor of Business Leadership (Pan Africa Christian University) and a Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering, and is an ILO-certified entrepreneurship trainer and a Wadhwani Foundation master trainer.
In 2015 he founded Mentorship & Beyond Foundation, where the F-CREATE programme has walked hundreds of young Kenyans from facing themselves to taking charge of their lives. He also leads SUPERHILL and designed KIWANDA KENYA, a youth manufacturing model. He is a husband and father, and a volunteer counsellor to young people and married couples.
In class he teaches "the realities of the matter": the second half of every session, carried by stories from his own life and a challenge to act on. Author of the Spider Secrets library.
Mentor Timothy Mukoba
MentorOpens each class from scripture with a framework of numbered points, and drew the season as the M&B vector: down to rock bottom at Expose, then up to Excel.
Alongside them: cohort leaders drawn from past seasons, Bible study mentors, and the heads of the graduate and associate levels.
